Launched in January of 2013, the most refined of the 110 collection, the platinum shield cuts a sharp look compared the other versions created. Clean and streamlined giving a different feel and look on the wrist.
With the platinum bezel, URWERK gets to showcase its fine-finishing savoir-faire. With its satin-finish bezel, satin-polished screws, sand-blasted titanium crown protector and main-plate, circular-grained minute arc, and matte hour satellites with diamond-cut bevels. The elegant look even extends to the colours chosen: black on natural metal for a classic, bichromatic look highlighting the three-dimensionality and giving an almost vintage look.
In 2011 the UR-110 won the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève prize for Best Design Watch, with its new take on the satellite complication. A revolving hour satellite follows a vertically arced line, graded from 0 to 60 minutes, in a downward motion. Planetary gearing keeps the three hour-satellites, and their arrow-shaped 'torpedoes' in parallel formation as they take turns to indicate the time as they pass the 60-minute track. This performance is made possible utilizing an architecture featuring three levels of complexity:
- A central carousel providing the complication with stability and equilibrium
- Planetary gearing assuring the parallel rotation of the three hour-satellites as they orbit the dial
- Three counter-rotating hour modules – each comprising an hour satellite, minute hand and counterbalance – are each mounted on a planetary gear. These three modules are in constant counter-rotation to offset the direction of rotation of the central carousel.
The dial side control board displays, Day/Night indicator; 'Oil Change' alerting service intervals and small seconds. Flip the UR-110 over and discover the two turbine windows which regulated the winding rate of the uni-directional rotor.

Delivery Options
Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays. Please allow additional time, if ordering on or near public holidays or weekends. Delivery will commence once payment is secured depending on payment type.

Insurance
Your purchase is insured whilst in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you do not receive the goods in person (i.e. for gift orders or where an item has been signed for by a concierge/reception desk) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.
